Un record. Et pourtant, le nouveau patron du groupe tire la sonnette d&rsquo;alarme. Trop de mod\u00e8les tuent la rentabilit\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un empire trop complexe pour rester rentable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices du constructeur japonais ont chut\u00e9 d&rsquo;environ 5,3 milliards d&rsquo;euros entre 2024 et 2025, et une nouvelle baisse de 20 % est projet\u00e9e. Vendre plus ne suffit plus. Kenta Kon, entr\u00e9 en fonctions le 1er avril dernier, a pass\u00e9 ses premiers mois \u00e0 parcourir les centres de R&amp;D du groupe. Le PDG est direct : trop de sp\u00e9cifications et de variantes font grimper les co\u00fbts sans cr\u00e9er de valeur r\u00e9elle. La berline \u00e9lectrique Lexus LF-ZC, dont la sortie \u00e9tait pr\u00e9vue pour 2027, a \u00e9t\u00e9 abandonn\u00e9e en raison d&rsquo;une faible demande anticip\u00e9e et de co\u00fbts de d\u00e9veloppement jug\u00e9s trop \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Le Toyota Land Cruiser s\u00e9rie 70, lanc\u00e9 en 1984, est toujours commercialis\u00e9 en Australie et au Japon. Kenta Kon l&rsquo;a confirm\u00e9 : l&rsquo;essence, l&rsquo;hybride, le rechargeable et m\u00eame le diesel resteront au catalogue. La production hybride sera m\u00eame renforc\u00e9e. Toyota ne mise pas tout sur l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrique.
