La McMurtry Sp\u00e9irling n&rsquo;est plus un prototype de laboratoire : elle d\u00e9barque chez ses premiers clients d\u00e8s cet \u00e9t\u00e9 2026. Et elle ne ressemble \u00e0 rien de connu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une hypercar \u00e9lectrique qui red\u00e9finit les lois de la physique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Longue de 3,45 m seulement, cette monoplace britannique cache un secret redoutable : son syst\u00e8me brevet\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Downforce-on-Demand\u00a0\u00bb. Deux turbines tournant \u00e0 23 000 tr\/min aspirent l&rsquo;air sous la voiture, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 2 000 kg d&rsquo;appui a\u00e9rodynamique&#8230; d\u00e8s l&rsquo;arr\u00eat. R\u00e9sultat ? Elle peut th\u00e9oriquement rouler au plafond. Et l&rsquo;a prouv\u00e9 en avril 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Des performances qui humilient la F1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1 000 ch. Moins de 1 000 kg. 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 1,5 seconde. \u00c0 Goodwood en 2022, pilot\u00e9e par l&rsquo;ex-F1 Max Chilton, la Sp\u00e9irling a pulv\u00e9ris\u00e9 le record absolu d\u00e9tenu depuis 23 ans par une Formule 1 McLaren : 39,08 secondes contre 41,6. Sur le circuit de Top Gear, elle a devanc\u00e9 une Renault R24 F1 de 3,1 secondes. Du jamais-vu pour une voiture \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Production lanc\u00e9e : 100 exemplaires \u00e0 partir de 1,16 million d&rsquo;euros<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>McMurtry ouvre officiellement sa nouvelle usine de 2 700 m\u00b2 \u00e0 Wotton-under-Edge. Les livraisons de la version \u00ab\u00a0Pure\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9marrent cet \u00e9t\u00e9, avec un ticket d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de 1,16 million d&rsquo;euros (hors taxes et options). Avec 22 brevets d\u00e9pos\u00e9s (a\u00e9rodynamique active, batteries haute performance, all\u00e8gement extr\u00eame), la jeune marque g\u00e9n\u00e8re d\u00e9j\u00e0 des revenus \u00e0 sept chiffres aupr\u00e8s d&rsquo;autres constructeurs. La technologie de la Sp\u00e9irling pourrait bient\u00f4t \u00e9quiper des voitures d&rsquo;autres marques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L&rsquo;avenir de la performance \u00e9lectrique se dessine en Grande-Bretagne<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dix ans apr\u00e8s sa cr\u00e9ation par feu Sir David McMurtry (d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 en 2025), la startup devient un acteur cr\u00e9dible de l&rsquo;hypercar \u00e9lectrique. Avec son format radical, son approche centr\u00e9e sur la l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 (moins de 1 000 kg l\u00e0 o\u00f9 la concurrence d\u00e9passe souvent 2 000 kg) et son a\u00e9rodynamique r\u00e9volutionnaire, la Sp\u00e9irling ouvre une voie in\u00e9dite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reste une question : qui osera vraiment exploiter les 1 000 ch de cette machine capable de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer 3G en virage ?
